Value-added Services.

Value-added services represent an emerging service model that enhances and expands upon the traditional, straightforward warehouse logistics management approach.

The primary goal of value-added services is to shorten order fulfillment times and reduce factory inventory and logistics costs — thereby lowering the total cost of finished goods — through the provision of services such as sorting, packaging, and kitting.

Value-added services mainly include:

  • Sorting and packaging

  • Labeling

  • Bundling and splitting

  • Quality management

  • Inventory management

  • Maintenance and repair

  • Light manufacturing / simple processing
